”Lauluja laaksoista” on teemalevy, joka kulkee Astrid Lindgrenin ”Veljeni, Leijonamieli” -kirjan jalanjäljissä. Se on tarina ystävyydestä, sodasta, peloista, orjuutuksesta sekä mielikuvituksen ja toivon voimasta – pelottavan ajankohtaisista aiheista.
Musiikillisesti levy on kunnianhimoinen yhdistelmä lausuntaa, konemusiikkia, dronea, folkia, ambientia, psykedeliaa ja rosoisempiakin äänenpainoja, joka on muovautunut tähän muotoon tarinan ehdoilla. Orgaanisuus on ollut yksi levynteon peruskivistä, ja niinpä kappaleissa kuullaan niin kitaroita, perkussioita kuin muutamia vierailijoitakin.

“Lauluja laaksoista” (“Songs from the Valleys”) is a theme album, that follows the plot of Astrid Lindgren’s children’s book “The Brothers Lionheart”. It’s a story about friendship, war, fears, enslavement and the power of imagination and hope – the topics that are unfortunately topical nowadays.
What comes to the music, the album is an ambitious mix of spoken parts, electronic music, drone, folk, ambient, psychedelia and rougher elements, which have found their place in the whole lead by the story. The result is an organic album that finds its nuances both through electronic music and guitars, percussion, saxophones and guest vocalists.
